It started over a coffee.
Logic8 was founded by Sam and Mithun. They met in the biggest AI community on the internet, swapping notes with people from all over the world. Then they worked out they were both in Melbourne, so they did the Melbourne thing and met for a coffee.
That coffee went long. Between them they had more than twenty years each in IT, building and running technology for other people’s businesses. What they still loved wasn’t the buzzwords. It was the moment a job that used to eat a whole afternoon starts happening on its own, and someone gets their afternoon back.
By the time the cups were empty, Logic8 was a plan.
It has grown into a team since then. The founders are still close to the work, and everyone who joins works the same way: listen first, agree what a change should save you, then check that it did.
Why “Logic8”?
Logic, because not every time-saver needs AI. Lots of the best fixes are simple, well-built steps that run on their own while you sleep.
And 8, turned on its side, is the infinity symbol. That’s how we see what’s possible for a business once the busywork is out of the way.

Listening is most of the job.
Before we build anything, we sit down with you and hear what’s actually going on. What takes too long. What gets typed in twice. What gets missed on a Friday.
Then we turn it into a plan with a number on it: the hours you get back, the money you save, and a date you’ll see it by.
We don’t have the slickest sales pitch in Melbourne, and we’re fine with that. You’ll never get a hard sell from us. And we run everything we recommend in our own business first, so when we say something will save you time, we’ve already watched it happen.

- No starting again. We fit in around the programs you already run, like Xero, Microsoft 365 and your customer list. Behind the scenes we use trusted tools such as n8n and Make, and AI from Anthropic, OpenAI and Google.
- Your information stays yours. It stays in your own accounts. Before we build, we tell you which AI reads it, where it runs and what it keeps.
- Nothing goes wrong quietly. Everything we build keeps a record of what it did, and tells a named person if something didn’t work.
