Terms

The fine print. In plain English.

These terms apply when you use this website, work with us, or use a tool or app we build or run for you. We’ve kept them as short and plain as we can. If we’ve agreed something different with you in writing, such as a proposal, a statement of work or a service agreement, that agreement wins wherever it differs from this page.

Who we are

Logic8 is a business name of Neo Craft Solutions Pty Ltd, ABN 69 690 607 339, based in Port Melbourne, Australia. “We” and “us” means Logic8. “You” means the business we’re working with, and the people it invites to use our tools.

This website

You’re welcome to read and share what’s on this site. The words, designs and code are ours, so please don’t copy large parts of them as your own. Our articles are general information, not advice for your business. For that, talk to us.

Working with us

Before we start, we agree in writing what we’ll do, what it costs, and when. That might be a short proposal or a longer agreement. If you want to change what we’re doing, we’ll agree the change, and any change in cost, before we do it.

We’ll do the work carefully and with the skill you’d expect, keep you informed, and tell you early if something isn’t going to plan.

You’ll give us the information and access we need, tell us about anything that affects the work, and make the decisions that are yours to make.

Tools and apps we run for you

Some of what we build, we also run for you as an online app. Only people we or you invite can sign in.

  • Accounts. Keep sign-in details to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else has them. You’re responsible for what’s done with your team’s accounts.
  • Using it properly. Don’t use our tools to send spam, contact people who haven’t agreed to hear from you, break the law, or try to get into things you shouldn’t. You’re responsible for what you send through them, and for following the laws that apply to your business, such as the Spam Act, the Do Not Call Register and privacy law.
  • Services we rely on. Our tools use other companies for things like hosting, messaging and AI. If one of them changes or stops a service, we’ll let you know and do our best to find a way around it.
  • Keeping it running. We’ll do our best to keep tools working, but we can’t promise they’ll never stop. Sometimes we need to pause a tool for maintenance or to fix a problem. Where we can, we’ll tell you first.
  • Suspending access. If a tool is being misused, or bills are well overdue, we may pause it. We’ll tell you why and work with you to sort it out.

AI in what we build

When a tool uses AI, we’ll tell you where, what it can see, and how it can be wrong. AI can make mistakes, so where AI writes something that goes to your customers, we’ll agree with you whether a person checks it first or whether it can send by itself, and you can change that at any time. You’re responsible for checking that what your tools send suits your business.

Your information and ours

What’s yours stays yours: your data, your documents, and your customers’ details. Our privacy page explains how we look after it.

What we build for you that’s made just for your business is yours once it’s paid for, unless we agree otherwise. We keep ownership of our general know-how and the tools, building blocks and code we reuse across clients, and you get a licence to use them as part of what we build for you.

We’ll keep your business information confidential, and we ask you to do the same with ours, such as our pricing and methods.

Payment

We’ll invoice as agreed in your proposal or agreement. Unless that says otherwise, invoices are due within 14 days. Usage costs from services a tool relies on, such as text messages, calls or AI, are charged as agreed with you.

Ending our work together

Either of us can end ongoing work by giving 30 days’ notice in writing, unless your agreement says otherwise. When it ends, you pay for work done up to that date, and we’ll give you your information back or delete it, as our privacy page explains.

When things go wrong

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Apart from those rights, and as far as the law allows, we’re not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost opportunities. Our total responsibility for anything connected with our work is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the problem happened.

If something isn’t right, tell us first. We’d much rather sort it out with you directly.

Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date below. If a change affects a tool you use, we’ll tell you before it takes effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
